“After about 5 minutes on my initial phone call with Taylor, I knew I wanted to hire her and her incredible team on my big day. She was one of the first vendors I hired right after I booked my venue, and it was one of the BEST DECISIONS I could've made throughout the planning process. Even though I only hired her for day-of event coordination, Taylor was there for me and my husband the entire time, answering questions, giving recommendations & advice, getting quotes for rentals, etc. I also found my DJ - Salazar Productions & Dessert Bar - Starlight Loveland, who was also amazing, through her. It was such a weight off our shoulders having Taylor coordinate with all our vendors the month leading up. She also coordinated our timeline and kept the day moving along so smoothly. It was AWESOME. She also gave directions as our venue was not the easiest to find. “Taylor and her team at Mountainside Events were the driving force behind what so many guests at our wedding called “the best wedding they’ve ever attended.” When we decided to get married at my parents' property in Colorado, we quickly realized that since we live out of state, we needed help coordinating vendors and just planning in general.
Taylor met with us early on in the process and went over decisions that we would need to make, took the time to get to know us and our preferences, and began to create a timeline for when we would need to make these decisions. All of this was extremely helpful to create the type of event we wanted and to make sure that we kept everything on track! All of the vendors that we were connected with were top-of-the-line professionals who truly love what they do.
Juli and Juan’s catering was show-stopping and a true highlight. Working with John Robson for photography was an absolute joy, and our photos turned out beautifully. Rob Salazar was a wonderful DJ, NOCO Staffing kept the service impeccable and the drinks flowing, and to finish it off, Flexx Productions set us up with a tent that looked straight out of a Disney movie. On the day of our wedding, it was truly the team at Mountainside Events that made it what it was. I could not have asked for a better group of individuals to help us celebrate our big day and will forever be grateful for their assistance in ushering in this new chapter in our lives. Why Wedding and Event Planning in Fort Collins?
I (Taylor) was born and raised in Northern Colorado and have been a Fort Collins wedding planner for over five years. As a native of the area, I’m very connected with local businesses and other industry professionals and love investing in the Fort Collins community. Not only does Mountainside Events plan countless weddings, but I am also the current Event Operations Manager for the Horsetooth International Film Festival, and my team does a number of corporate events for local businesses throughout the year.
While I’m not wearing my Fort Collins wedding planner hat, you can find me spending time with my wife and daughter, sitting on the Advisory Committee for Front Range Community College’s Hospitality Management Program (after three semesters as a professor), and planning fun events with my NOCO Staffing team (the other business I co-founded!).

Sarah Joelle has been a professional in the wedding and event industry for over 8 years. She has a passion for bringing events to life and has gained experience in many aspects of the event industry. Sarah was a senior event planner for Three Tomatoes Catering, business development manager for Peak Beverage Catering and a professional working musician. She combines her creative nature with her expertise to ensure that each event is beautiful and executed with ease.
Taylor Giles
ASSISTANT EVENT COORDINATOR
Taylor Giles has been working in the hospitality industry for 10 years and is currently majoring in hospitality management. On top of loving the industry, Taylor truly loves working with people and helping craft unique events that express each individual's wants, needs, and flair. From snowboarding and hiking to paddle boarding the Poudre, Taylor knows what it truly means to live “Mountainside.”
